Today was the first day of our three day weekend. The options were going somewhere for the weekend or going to Windsor Castle and Eton. I went to Windsor and Eton. It was nice because it was only about 9 students and the teachers. We all hung out together and didn't feel so stressful like it usually does.
Windsor Castle was huge! It is like its own little town. We got there right when the changing of the guard was happening, so we missed it. We went to St. George's Chapel which is in the Windsor walls. It has many, many kings and queens buried there. After that we went to the castle. We walked around some of the rooms. Nothing too special there sadly. We had fun though since it was Max, Lauren, Caroline, Juli, Ian, Alex, Daddy D, and I. (We all hang out when we're going out anyway so it was nice.) We lost Spurgen along the way, but met up with him once we were done in the castle.
After the castle we went to lunch at this pub. Daddy D paid for out lunch. (THANK YOU DAVID! We love you forever now!) We were really just joking about him paying for lunch, but he did. While waiting for our food Spurgen found an old book store. It had many books from the 40s and 50s. I picked up Bleak House by Charles Dickens for only 10 pounds! So now I have a new book to read.
Lunch was nothing special and there was nothing else to see, so we went home. Now I'm back for the weekend. I get to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tomorrow. I can't wait!
Shout out to the girls at Pacific Cove Escrow, Meadow, Katie, and my mom (even if she's on vacation)!
