Today we went to the National Portrait Gallery. I found that this guy, Allan Ramsay (above), from I think the 1700s was totally beautiful. He was a portrait artist and did a self portrait that was totally good. I also liked the one of King Charles II (played by the English actor, Rupert Everett, in Stage Beauty) as a baby. It said that "He was 4 months and 15 days old when the picture was done. His mother said, 'He's so fat and tall that he looks a year old.'..." which really he does look older.
On a different note (not something to do with the trip that is) I'm going to be an aunt! (Even if I don't talk to my brother...much...I still know about what's going on with him) I don't know if and when the baby will be born. All I know is the ice queen, I mean my brother's wife (who I will probably never say is my sister-in-law when I talk about her) is 5 months along. They don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. I'm hoping for a boy, so I can spoil him.
