Last Night in London!

It's our last night in London and it's about to get crazy! Everyone is going out drinking or staying in their rooms to drink. Me being the good child, I'm staying with my friends in Alex's room and watching them drink. I'm not one ot get wasted the day before we leave! It's an 11 1/2 hour flight and I'm not going to go on it hungover.

I finished packing this afternoon aside from a couple of things I need for tomorrow. I can't believe the days finally arrived that I'm giong home. It feels like jsut yesterday we got to London all bright eyed and bushy tailed waiting to see what would happen.

There have been many stories, dramas, and drinking happening while we were here and I can't believe when I wake up on Sunday I wont be able to hear about what happened the night before with the "beezes". I'm sad to be leaving such a cool place, but at the same time I can't wait to get home to my mom and back to doc hunting all day. Also I've got school starting again at the end of August, so that means Miguel(!) and a whole new school year to look forward to.

I'm coming home tomorrow at 7:30PM on Air New Zealand. (Just to let ya'll know) ;)

Find me somebody to love...

Ok that's just being going through my head all day because of the song from We Will Rock You.

Today was quite uneventful. I only had class for an hour and I didn't do anything in it. I just sat there...but the best part of class was when Anne asked (seriously) if Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare was about the twelve days of Christmas. I said "NO!" But I was thinking, "Yes, yes it is. Because you know Shakespeare loved Christmas!" It was a classic "beeze" (the name we use for the group Anne hangs out with) moment. I don't know how I didn't end up laughing in her face because of that stupid question.

After class I FINALLY went down to Starbucks I picked up something for my dad and aunt. So now all of my shopping is done! I then got home to work on my two papers and I finished them!!! So I'm done doing papers, until I go back to school at the end of next month.

I can't believe it's almost time to say good bye to London. It feels like just yesterday we were getting off the plane in Heathrow and coming here. I'm going to miss it alot. I'll miss William (the coolest front desk worker ever!), the tube (and why don't we have this in CA?), and all the cool shops that I found. I'm for sure going to come back some day and have all new adventures...for now though I'm going back to school and work. (Can't wait to tell Miguel all my stories)

Two days and counting!

BTW- Katie I've got those docs you needed. Do you want them sent in the next messanger run?

Wednesdays are boring

I got two of the four papers I needed to do done. I still have that time line and my Pygmalion to do. We were in class all day today. Most of it was going over what is going to be on our finals that we have on Friday. We spent our time in theatre class reading part of Pygmalion, which seems to be good. I kind of liked reading it in class, but we'll see how good it is tonight.

Today at lunch some of us were sitting together talking about how we're all sick of each other right now, but once we get home we'll be missing each other. It's so true though as I was sitting in theatre class and was thinking that I was over all the people in the class because they don't know anything about theatre and what makes a show good. We were talking about We Will Rock You and what we liked and didn't like about the show. I loved the Queen music, but hated the story line. It was like they were trying too hard to put a story to all the Queen songs in the show.

Well I think that's all for now. Three days until I come home! By the way Mom, Katie, and Meadow I'm printing those docs ya'll need!

Cambridge was a busted

Ok, Cambridge was fun, but I would have rather stayed home and done work. Like I said yesterday I have lots to do! I got home around 3:30 PM and have been doing lots of stuff...like everything but my papers. Anyway I was writing a quick note about my day of nothing...tomorrow is class ALL DAY and another play at night. (And I have to write a review to that one too! BOO!!!)

Anyway only 4 more days and I'm home!!! Can't wait to see everyone again!

xoxox

P.S. Congrads to Andrew Keenan-Bolger for landing a job on The Naked Brother's Band. I just love that show and can't wait to see him in it!

The teacher's have got bloody mad!

It's our last week of school in London and the teacher's have got mad! If you're in the drama class you have two YES two reviews to do by Friday on top of two other papers and a time line of what we saw for Dr. Dre and Spurgeon. So what's their bright idea to get us to do the papers? Take us on an ALL DAY trip to Cambridge. Yeah, Yeah what fun to do? NOT WHEN YOU HAVE FOUR PAPERS TO DO! I'm already stressing and I was about to cry today in the computer lab because I was having writers block. I so over London (the school part of it) right now.

Anyway on a HAPPY note, we got to see We Will Rock You tonight. It was fabtastic. I was singing the whole time and it was funny. I wish the sound system was better, but all in all it was a great show. There was this guy on stage with a mohawk that was like on the back of his head and to the side. It was wicked cool, even if it was really just a wig piece.

Ok, so now I have to go to bed because tomorrow their putting on an 8:20 AM call to leave for our trip! Yay!!!! (I'm crying on the inside really because of all the stuff I have to do.)

It's Jim Jam Sunday

Yes you read that right I've decided that it's Jim Jam (pajama) Sunday. I've got nothing to do today, so I'm staying in my jim jams all day. I've already been down to the refectory in them (which I do more often then not anyway) and I'll be staying around my room in them all day. The only thing I don't wear to bed that I'm wearing right now is my hat. I love my hat, so I wear it alot. Plus it hides that my hair is totally doing it's own thing right now.

Happy Jim Jam Day!

Update: I have done nothing all day! I don't know where the day went, but it was wasted just sitting around and doing nothing. The best part of Jim Jam Day is that I got Aly, John, Lauren, and Caroline to join me in staying in our jim jams all day. I might do it again tomorrow since we only have class from 1:30-2:30...I hope.

Legs are shaking

There's a good reason for this title as we went to St. Paul's Cathedral today. It's the place where Prince Charles got married to Princess Diana. It's huge and the inside it beautiful. We walked (yes walked) up to the whispering gallery, which part of the dome of the cathedral. It was 257 steps to just that part of the dome. The next part is the Stone Gallery which is another 119 steps. My legs were killed me after that. When I got back down I was standing with my friends and my legs were shaking! Yes shaking! It was weird, luckily it's stopped, but I really don't want to be doing that again sometime.

Last night was amazing. We went to see Romeo and Juliet at the same open air theatre where we saw A Midsummer Night's Dream. This time the show was much better and SO good. I was in awe the whole time with it. All six of the cast member's from A Midsummer Night's Dream were in this show. Nicholas Shaw, who played Lysander in AMND, was Romeo, Matthew Hart, who was Puck in AMND, was Sampson, Laura Donnelly, who played Hermia in AMND, was Juliet, Ben Joiner, who was Demetrius in AMND, was Tybalt, Annette McLaughlin, who was Helena (and was horrible) in AMND, was Lady Capulet, and Dale Superville, who was Bottom in AMND, was Peter. (Ok sorry, but I wanted to give a shout out to those six because they had to do that horrible AMND.) Anyway Romeo and Juliet was wicked awesome. Everyone in the cast was great and the setting was nice. They based it in the 1950s and it totally worked. It was like watching West Side Story without the dancing and singing. Romeo, Nicholas Shaw was so adorable.

So now I was eating lunch (and this ties in with the open air theatre) and noticed this guy walking in. I was like "That's Puck (Matthew Hart)." So after I was done eating and he was starting to I went up to him and talked to him about both shows. He was very sweet and lovely. I heart him mucho. He was nice about letting me sit with him while he ate. The funny thing though is that he told me the cast for A Midsummer Night's Dream doesn't even understand the whole concept of the show. I was laughing about that. Meeting Matthew Hart makes up for the whole walking St. Paul's thing.

A quick little message

Ok,so I'm off to breakfast pretty soon, so this is going to be just a little note. I'll write more later today.

Here's the link to pictures from the trip that are on the Marymount website:

Last night

We had karaoke last night at the pub at school and it was the most fun I've had since I was here. It was everyone from my school, some Russian, French, and Spanish students who were there with another school. Dr. Dre came too, but sadly wouldn't sing by himself. We did get him to sing Summer Nights with us though and he danced alittle. It was also Stephs birthday, so it was extra special night.

Today we had a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Straitford upon Avon, where William Shakespeare was born and raised. Everyone of the students had about 4 or less hours of sleep so we slept the whole way there and on the way back. I got 4 hours of sleep last night, so I was pretty tired when we got there. (Even if I did sleep on the bus) Anyway it was fun and my favorite thing was finding the Royal Shakepeareian Companies theatre and getting a poster of Hamlet with David Tennant. (He's the guy who plays the Doctor on Doctor Who)

Sadly, now I must start to write a review of Billy Elliot.

Quick shout out to my family! Grandpa, Grandma, my aunts, uncles, cousins (Ryan, Gerald, Megan), my parents, and the newest member of the family Sadie (below)! Miss you guys and gals! See you when I get home next week!

Expressing Yourself

I got to see Billy Elliot last night!!! It was really good, but I liked Joseph... better. They have 4 Billy's and last night it was Layton William's turn to go. He was really good and reminded me of Ryan (this kid I performed with). The dancing was great and everyone in the cast was good. My favorite part had to be the song Expressing Yourself because the song was good and it says "Cos what the hell is wrong with expressing youself For wanting to be me?" It's about being who you want to be and doing what you want to do without anyone caring. All in all the show was good and I really can't wait for it to hit Broadway this fall.

Today was nothing special. I had class in the morning and then got the rest of the day off. I went to Convent Garden, which is my new hangout. I ran into two people who were passing out flyers for Billy Elliot and we ended up talking for about a half hour about theatre, the states, London, and everything in between.

Tomorrow is an all day trip to Stratford. The birth place and home of William Shakespeare.

Pictures!

Here's the link to pictures from the trip:

http://www.marymountpv.edu/academics/VisualLondon.asp

These are taken by photo students and Pat (the photo teacher). There will be more coming this week. *fingers crossed*

Today we went to the National Portrait Gallery. I found that this guy, Allan Ramsay (above), from I think the 1700s was totally beautiful. He was a portrait artist and did a self portrait that was totally good. I also liked the one of King Charles II (played by the English actor, Rupert Everett, in Stage Beauty) as a baby. It said that "He was 4 months and 15 days old when the picture was done. His mother said, 'He's so fat and tall that he looks a year old.'..." which really he does look older.

On a different note (not something to do with the trip that is) I'm going to be an aunt! (Even if I don't talk to my brother...much...I still know about what's going on with him) I don't know if and when the baby will be born. All I know is the ice queen, I mean my brother's wife (who I will probably never say is my sister-in-law when I talk about her) is 5 months along. They don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. I'm hoping for a boy, so I can spoil him.

Ghost in the room

No there's not really a ghost in my room, but supposedly there is one in Max's. He says there is a ghost, but really there is no ghost. We laugh about it all the time.

John, his roommate, has been staying in his girlfriend's room and the other day John put his smelly shoes in his and Max's room so it wouldn't stink up the other room. Well Max said that the "ghost" was making the room smell. We're laughing our heads off when we found out it was John's shoes. Max doesn't know it's John's shoes and no one's told him.

Anyway he went to Amsterdam yesterday and so John let us have the key to the room so we could mess with him. We used butter to put hand prints on the window, opened all the windows, and put an ice cube on the mirror. (Hopefully it'll make it look like tear drops on the mirror). Max isn't home yet, so we're just waiting until he gets home to see what he says. We're all sitting in our rooms trying not to laugh when Max comes to tell us that the "ghost" was in his room again.

Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat

I went and saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (and from now on it's going to be called just Joseph) and it was OMG! the best thing I've seen. I mean when I was in (back in 2006 with Starlight Productions) I liked the show. Then when I saw it in LA it was really good, but when I saw it here I was in awe. I loved the whole thing. I want to just sit there and watch it over and over again.

When Lee Mead (Joseph) comes out everyone in the audience cheered...Ok, pause for a the back story about Lee. If you remember the show from Spring 2007, Grease: You're the one That I want and you got to pick who the next Danny and Sandy were in Grease, well that's how Lee Mead got the part of Joseph. He was on Any Dream Will Do over in England and won the whole thing...anyway back to Lee Mead. He comes out on stage and everyone is going crazy cheering and clapping for the guy. This is the guy they picked to be Joseph, so it was a big deal to see him. And I see why they picked him as Joseph. He's great and totes cute. When he sang, Close Every Door I got goosebumps. He was that amazing.

The cast as a whole was great. The brothers were really funny and had their scene stealing moments. My favorite had to be when they were singing One More Angel in Heaven and their father, Jacob, leaves. They start to have a dance party, ho down style. I totally forgot about this part and found it quite funny. Plus the Children's Choir was really cute and the cast interacts with them, which I thought was cool.

The end of the show and bows is when they do Joseph Megamix, which is pretty much almost every song from the show in 10 minutes. I loved it and when Lee Mead came out again with the coat on, again, everyone went crazy and cheered and clapped. Lee Mead is so cute and humble about getting the part of Joseph. He seemed to me totally happy to get the part and is grateful for everything to do with the show.

I want to see it again for sure. It's now one of my favorite shows and I want to be in it again. If I see it again I don't know if I'll be able to forget the wonderful production from the West End in London.

Windsor and Eton

Today was the first day of our three day weekend. The options were going somewhere for the weekend or going to Windsor Castle and Eton. I went to Windsor and Eton. It was nice because it was only about 9 students and the teachers. We all hung out together and didn't feel so stressful like it usually does.

Windsor Castle was huge! It is like its own little town. We got there right when the changing of the guard was happening, so we missed it. We went to St. George's Chapel which is in the Windsor walls. It has many, many kings and queens buried there. After that we went to the castle. We walked around some of the rooms. Nothing too special there sadly. We had fun though since it was Max, Lauren, Caroline, Juli, Ian, Alex, Daddy D, and I. (We all hang out when we're going out anyway so it was nice.) We lost Spurgen along the way, but met up with him once we were done in the castle.

After the castle we went to lunch at this pub. Daddy D paid for out lunch. (THANK YOU DAVID! We love you forever now!) We were really just joking about him paying for lunch, but he did. While waiting for our food Spurgen found an old book store. It had many books from the 40s and 50s. I picked up Bleak House by Charles Dickens for only 10 pounds! So now I have a new book to read.

Lunch was nothing special and there was nothing else to see, so we went home. Now I'm back for the weekend. I get to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tomorrow. I can't wait!

Shout out to the girls at Pacific Cove Escrow, Meadow, Katie, and my mom (even if she's on vacation)!

One of those days

Last night I went to bed at 11PM. Now this really isn't something you probably don't care about, but really when going to bed after a long day of rain and getting woken up at 1AM(!) because of people from your school are being SO loud that you can hear them from my room (my room is pretty far from everyone else's room) it can get me really upset. I was sleeping when I heard people yelling up and down the hall. I went over to the room where all the noise was coming from and banged on the door. That got them quiet for a minute before they had me come inside with them. It was like 2 seconds later did little Pedro (he's really not little I just like to call him that) come over to tell everyone to get out of the room and go back to their room because everyone was being too loud. I got out of the room and told Pedro that I wasn't a part of it I had just gone in to tell them they were being too loud. He was cool about it and said I wasn't going to get in trouble.

I ended up not getting to bed until about 3 AM after e-mailing my mom some stuff and falling into bed. My roommate came home and put her stuff down before she went to do "drama control" over on the other side where all the partying was happening. So after all that it was 3AM by the time I fell asleep. I woke up at 7:20AM but fell back asleep for another 2 hours. I'm still tried, but I can manage.

Today was a boring day. I had class from 1-4 and it was nothing special. We just started our reviews on The Frontline, which we saw yesterday.

I was looking at my other posts and I have yet to tell you about my new favorite person, William. He works at the front desk of Reid hall. (Where I'm staying) He's a cool, older gay guy. He sings showtunes and is totes for sure awesome.

It's Raining Men!

Yes, that's right folks it's raining! It's crazy! It's rained all day and has been raining off and on all week. Sadly unlike the title it really isn't raining men, as much as fun that would be I don't think it would be totally good with a bunch men falling everywhere.

Yesterday it rained off and on while we were at the OPEN AIR (no roof) theatre to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. The show was billed for anyone 6 and up. So I thought it was going to kind of childish...NOPE! It was way too childish for me. It was not the best preformance I've seen, but for the kids at the show (and there were many school groups there) it was fun for them.

Today we saw a new show (so new it only opened like 3 days ago!) at the Globe theatre (the one that preforms Shakespeare all the time.) It was called The Frontline. I liked it and it had no plot what so ever. It was based outside an underground (the tube, subway, metro) station in Camden. It had many, many different stories happening and they sometimes talked over each other. I loved the one actor, Ashley Rolfe. And not just because we have the same name (I liked him before I found that out). He was wicked funny in the small part that he had. So yeah if you're in London check it out because it's really, really good...Be warned as it DOES have strong language and violence in it.

Last thing I promise! Today on the tube we were all packed into the carriage (the car) standing and sitting. I was standing with some friends and this guy was checking all of us out. He was kind of cute. Sadly we got off before anything fun happened. Don't worry Dr. Spurgen was with us so we were safe on the tube and walking back to school.

All weekend...

The internet was down all weekend! I had no way of e-mailing people. I was crying...on the inside...but I did go shopping this weekend, so I was out of my room for a little bit.

Saturday I went around Oxford St. and shopped. I went to Hamley's toy store and was ready to move in there. It has 5(!) floors of toys and I didn't want to leave. I found a bunch of Doctor Who stuff there, which I'll be going back for within the next couple of weeks. Also I went to HMV (this music store) and picked up The Wombats CD "A Guide to Love, Loss, and Desperation". It's really good and I've been listening to it all weekend. Check them out on myspace!

Sunday I went around on our savanger hunt and found out that Covent Garden is yet another fun place to shop. They have a Lush and Build-A-Bear there. I'll be going back there soon. Also there is this shop that has a bunch of Doctor Who and Torchwood stuff, which I didn't find yet, but I saw an ad for it, so I'll have an adventure to it this weekend.

We don't have class until 1PM today, so we're all getting ready for class. We had 4 (yes 4!) papers due today.

Blister's are fabulous...not!

First off last night's show Mousetrap was great! I loved the show and I totally didn't know who the killer was in the show. I thought it was one of the ladies in the show, but it turned out it was someone totally different. (I would tell you who it is, but the cast makes an announcement at the end of curtain call to not tell people who haven't seen the show who is the killer.) I think I would love to do the show at school. It would make a good show at school, but if John directed it, it would look like s**t. Sorry, but he can't direct a show very well. I want to direct the show if I could.

Anyway today we went to Stonehenge and Salisbury. We had a late start because someone who will remain nameless coughMYROOMMATEcough said she couldn't find the bus, which is a big fat lie. I had to run to our room(!) to get her! I'm SO mad at her.

Stonehenge was beautiful. It was so cool to see when we were driving up because I had only seen pictures of it. Up close it's really cool to see and to figure out how they made. My camera died after 3 pics (thanks mom for the died batteries!), but I did get a good picture of it before my camera died.

After Stonehenge we went to Salisbury. It's this little village/town/whatever that has Salisbury Cathedral. It was brilliant. I hung out with Sperguon, Daddy D (Draper), and Kari (the drama teacher) when we were there. I was kind of over people from the trip by that time, so I hung out with the teachers. I had fun because it was me and them and I got to be with just them talk with them. At the Cathedral they were getting ready for a funeral, so we didn't get to look around too much.

We drove home after that and most of us sleep. Pat (the photo teacher) got pictures of a bunch of us sleeping. So I can't wait to see them up.

I think that's all for now. I get started on a couple of paper's that are due on Monday!

Peace, love, and coconuts!

Boring Day

Today was just another day in class. We started at 10 today, which meant a bunch of us stayed up late last night. I stayed in room and chilled because I didn't want to go out. I got up this morning at 7:30 and was happy I didn't have to rush getting ready and getting to breakfast before class.

We had Lady Sophie Laws teach us today about Ancient Britain. She mostly talked about Stonehenge because we're going there tomorrow. We have to be at the bus by 8:30AM! So no going out tonight. Well, we are going out tonight to see Mousetrap, but other then that I don't think any of us will be going anywhere. Also I had drama class today and it was rather drab. I was falling asleep in class because it was boring. I mean I love theatre, but when you're in class and would much rather be outside shopping class can get boring. Anyway our teacher, Kari, got us tickets (just the theatre students and her) to see We Will Rock You the musical with all Queen music. I can't wait to see it because I've been dying to see it for a while.

That's all for now. Tomorrow will be much more fun with Stonehenge.

This kid's got Talent

Give her a couple of years for the little toddler voice to leave her and she's going to be something big. She's only 4! But she already has a great voice. Watch out Christina she's coming!

Rainy Day

It took FOUR days for it to rain! FOUR! The last few days it's been sunny and blue skys. I liked it, but I like the rain better.

Last night I went to the sushi bar. I tried sushi. I still don't like it. I did find out where the pub on campus (yes for real there is one) is and I had a drink with "daddy" Draper and a couple of friends. Cranberry and vodka is now my drink of chose.

Today was the first big day of class where we had to sit in the class room all day. Drama wasn't bad. It was a review for me because we were just talking about Greek and Roman theatre. We started to read The Mousetrap beause we're going to see it tomorrow night! I think I might like it too. Also today we went to the British Library. It has tons and tons of manuscprits and first edition of books. The best part was all the different religion books and manuscpirts we saw. Also they had some stuff from the Beatles, which I knew my uncle Paul would love.

After the museum Ian, Alex, and I took the tube back to school. I made a pit stop at the Beatles store.(Yes there actually is a store for all things the Beatles.) I got my uncle something there. It was a pretty uneventful day for me.

Right now I'm watching a bunch of Euro guys (I can't say British guys because not all of them are British) play football (soccer) outside in the little tennis/football/basketball cout area outside my window. There's a really cute blonde guy who I think might be from Greece. But I could be wrong. They haven't noticed me yet, which is good because it might be weird that I'm just sitting there watching them play.

Bus Tour

Today we took a bus tour of the city. We got on the bus on Baker St. and made our way around town. We got to see many cool things (BBC building, St. Paul church where Diana and Prince Charles got married, Fleet St.(Sweeney Todd) and Big Ben) and a lot of things are closer then I thought. It's like being in New York almost. Anyway I found out that you can take the tube to Oxford Circus Station and all along the street are some great places to bought clothes. I found an Armani Exchange, FCUK, and a toy store all down the same street. So I'll be going that way this weekend. (Sorry mum! But I'm buying more clothes this weekend!)

Once we got off the bus we went to the Tower of London, where Richard III had his nephews killed. We went inside the bloody tower, which has no bloody bathroom. We did get to see the crowd jewels of the royal family. Those are some pretty cool crowds and rings. Also we got to go in little groups around the place so we didn't have to be in one big group. I didn't see anyone after we broke up, well expect for the people I was hanging out with. I found a two board games called Outrage! and Treason, which are funny. Outrage! has something to do with stealing the crowded jewels (no lie) and I think Treason has something to do with disowning the king or queen. I'm not too sure about that one, but I was almost going to buy them.

Once done with the Tower of London we got lunch (Subway) and got on the river boat to go back to Westminster Abbey. The boat ride was really fun because you got to go by so many more things. We got to go under the London Bridge (which sadly I didn't get a picture of, but I got a picture of the under part of it saying it was the London Bridge) and got to see the London Eye. (That's the big ferris wheel in London.)

We thought about going out more, but some of us were tried and I wanted to get my internet working on my laptop, which is what I did before I started writing this. So now the WiFi works on my laptop and I don't have to go downstairs to use the computers with 20 people who are staring you down so you'll get off so they can go on for no reason.

Tonight I'll be going out with a group of friends, Pat Kelly (the photo teacher), and "Daddy" Draper to a sushi resturant over on Oxford St. It'll be my first time getting sushi, so it'll be a interesting experience.

I'm still here

I've been in London for 3 days now and it's still amazing. I finally took the tube (the underground, a subway, etc) today when all of us were going to Westminster Abbey. The train we were on had delays, so we walked the rest of the way...ok NOT a good idea because I already had a blister on my heel (yes a blister) and I got one on the bottom of my foot too. I was dying!

So anyway I went to Westminster Abbey and it was amazing. So many little details and so many poeple buried there. My teacher, Dr. Spurgon, is the only living Amercian to have a key to the Westminster Abbey, so he took us around. My foot was killing me and I was happy that we had a late start, so we didn't do the bus tour. I left Westninster with "daddy" Draper and got home. So now I have the rest of the day off and I'm just hanging out...trying to let my feet have a rest.

London Calling

Hello everyone! I've made it to London in one piece! The flight was wicked long and I was ready to just get off the plane by the time we got to London. Our teacher, Dr. Draper, met us at the airport so he got us all to the school fine.

I was falling asleep when they were talking to us about the school, but once it was over a couple of my friends and I went out to find food and maybe a good pub. We were trying to get to the Met (not the art museum in New York), but got lost and found this other little pub where you had to dress up a little. The people who worked there didn't really care what you wore really and my friend bought me my frist beer. Ok, it was a nice thing to do, but I don't like beer. So no more beer for me!

My roommate isn't coming until late on Sunday, so I'm writing this in the middle of the night because I can't sleep. Oh and like 9:30PM in America is different then 9:30PM in England. I was trying to sleep and it was still light out...like the sun was JUST STARTING to set. It was weird, but I did fall asleep for a little bit.

I think that's about it. I'll write more as all the new adventures come.

I LOVED this show when I saw it in La Jolla. If you're in the New York area go see the show before it closes. It'll make you laugh, cry, and get all warm and fuzzy inside.

TONY AWARDS!!!

Yes, that's right the 62ND annual Tony Awards were on last night. They were wicked cool, but seriously did EVERY award have to go to South Pacific? I know it must be a Good show, but come on! Anyway the highlights of the night were the ORIGINAL CAST of the long running show Rent performed, the cast of Cry-Baby perfromed my favorite scene from the show, Cheyenne Jackson (who was robbed for not getting a nom for Best actor in a musical) did an amazing performance from Xanadu, and In The Heights won best musical. Congrads to all the winners!

First things first...

I'm kind of new to this whole blogging thing, so please be kind.

A little about me...I'm from California, but I rather be in New York while all the theatre is. I've been to NY three times in the past 4 years and everytime I go I don't want to leave. I'm a big theatre nerd and love to hear news from Broadway and other theatres around the world.

This summer I'll be going off to London(!) to study for a month. It's through my college, Marymount College in Palos Verdes, CA. (It's the two year college, not the four year, which is in NY) While I'm there I'll be able to study drama, the history of Great Britian, and seeing everything I can. I'll be going with about 25 other students from my school. So look for more Adventures in London starting June 28.

I'll be posting mroe then just my adventures in London on here, but for now I'm out of things to say.
