Yes, that's right folks it's raining! It's crazy! It's rained all day and has been raining off and on all week. Sadly unlike the title it really isn't raining men, as much as fun that would be I don't think it would be totally good with a bunch men falling everywhere.
Yesterday it rained off and on while we were at the OPEN AIR (no roof) theatre to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. The show was billed for anyone 6 and up. So I thought it was going to kind of childish...NOPE! It was way too childish for me. It was not the best preformance I've seen, but for the kids at the show (and there were many school groups there) it was fun for them.
Today we saw a new show (so new it only opened like 3 days ago!) at the Globe theatre (the one that preforms Shakespeare all the time.) It was called The Frontline. I liked it and it had no plot what so ever. It was based outside an underground (the tube, subway, metro) station in Camden. It had many, many different stories happening and they sometimes talked over each other. I loved the one actor, Ashley Rolfe. And not just because we have the same name (I liked him before I found that out). He was wicked funny in the small part that he had. So yeah if you're in London check it out because it's really, really good...Be warned as it DOES have strong language and violence in it.
Last thing I promise! Today on the tube we were all packed into the carriage (the car) standing and sitting. I was standing with some friends and this guy was checking all of us out. He was kind of cute. Sadly we got off before anything fun happened. Don't worry Dr. Spurgen was with us so we were safe on the tube and walking back to school.
