I got to see Billy Elliot last night!!! It was really good, but I liked Joseph... better. They have 4 Billy's and last night it was Layton William's turn to go. He was really good and reminded me of Ryan (this kid I performed with). The dancing was great and everyone in the cast was good. My favorite part had to be the song Expressing Yourself because the song was good and it says "Cos what the hell is wrong with expressing youself For wanting to be me?" It's about being who you want to be and doing what you want to do without anyone caring. All in all the show was good and I really can't wait for it to hit Broadway this fall.
Today was nothing special. I had class in the morning and then got the rest of the day off. I went to Convent Garden, which is my new hangout. I ran into two people who were passing out flyers for Billy Elliot and we ended up talking for about a half hour about theatre, the states, London, and everything in between.
Tomorrow is an all day trip to Stratford. The birth place and home of William Shakespeare.
